Hi cori_cakes23,
High nipples following a breast reduction can be challenging to change. There are general recommendations for breast measurements. The two most commonly used measurements include the sternal notch (the indentation where your collar bones connect at the center of you neck) to nipple distance and the distance from the nipple to the inframammary fold (crease beneath your breast). In your photos, the distance from your NAC-IMF (nipple to fold) distance appears quite large. I would speak with a board-certified plastic surgeon about their thoughts regarding an inferior wedge resection. This would remove tissue from the lower pole of the breast and help pull the nipple lower on the breast mound. Other alternatives to changing the position of the nipple when it is too high include skin grafting or advancement flaps.

Wearing nipple piercings following a breast reduction should not interfere with the overall outcome. Swelling following the procedure may limit the ability to pass the piercing through the tract easily and you want to make sure you're not putting pressure or tension on your incisions when trying to replace the piercing. Generally swelling and discomfort reaches a peak on day three and begins to subside, which may make it easier to replace the piercing. The exact recommendation would depend on your plastic surgeon and your post op healing.

Thank you for your question. If there is preexisting breast asymmetry, attempting correction while undergoing breast augmentation is common. On average, a 70 cc would equate to approximately 1/2 a cup size. The larger implant would be placed in the smaller breast, while the smaller implant would be placed in the naturally larger breast. I would consult with your plastic surgeon about the possibility of 3D imaging software to help you visualize the anticipated outcome. I hope this helps.

We commonly perform breast implant removal under local anesthesia. If you are comfortable being awake for the procedure it can be easily performed without general anesthesia. You would want to make sure to find a provider well versed in performing procedures while patients are awake. I hope this helps.

I can see how that would be confusing. One of the joys of plastic surgery is there is not just one to do something, and neither is necessarily incorrect. Generally speaking, patients who flex their chest muscles (i.e. body builders or entertainers) animation deformity can be problematic. If that is not you, then it should not be a problem. You can have submuscular or dual plane placement with minimal movement of the implant; however, a submuscular implant will almost always move to some degree when flexing the chest muscles. For patients with limited upper pole or superior breast fullness, such as yourself, a pre pectoral implant may be more prominent and show rippling or visibility of the implant capsule. A dual plane approach allows the implant to fill out the lower portion of the breast tissue while providing superior pole coverage. I hope this helps!

Your scars are healing very nicely. I am not sure how far out you are from your procedure, but scars can take up to a year to fade and augmentation scars are often imperceptible once mature. Only saline breast implants can be placed via an axillary approach (through the armpit) and this would leave additional scars. To avoid placing any additional scars, I would use the scar that is already present regardless of attempting to lower the scar to the fold. Attempts at recreating a fold can also be accomplished internally without additional scarring on the breast. Additionally, you'll want to keep in mind the diameter of your chest wall and skin stretch when considering a larger breast implant, as these can be limiting factors. Ultimately, I would make sure you're going to a board certified plastic surgeon and discussing all of your concerns to get the best possible outcome.

If you're feeling anxious about your breast augmentation, I would recommend reaching out to your board-certified plastic surgeon and letting them know your concerns. If you're not comfortable returning to your plastic surgeon, I would seek a second opinion. Ultimately, you can have your implants removed at anytime. It generally takes a minimum of 3 months for the implants to settle in place and they continue relax and heal over the following months. If they were recently placed, you're chest should look similar to before they were placed.

The eyebrow and the eyelid are two separate units and should be treated as such. Eyelid surgery may change the shape and appearance of your eyelid but should not alter the position or appearance of the eyebrow. If possible, I would consider waiting on your eyebrow tattoo until after your surgery to ensure you're pleased with the appearance of your eye area. Some patients who are concerned about heaviness or hooding of the eyes, may also benefit from a brow lift. I would talk with your plastic surgeon to see if he/she recommends that for you as well.

Sorry to hear about your injury. There are generally three reasons why one eyelid may appear more "droopy" than the other. #1 true eyelid ptosis #2 dermatochalasis (excess skin) #eyebrow ptosis. An in person exam with a plastic & reconstructive or oculoplastic surgeon would help you identify which one is causing your concern. One year out from your accident, swelling should have subsided.

If you remove your implants and do not replace them, you will lose the fullness in the upper portion of your breast. Your nipple position appears appropriate and would likely not require a lift for repositioning; however, a breast lift would help tighten any excess skin following explant. You may also want to explore options such as autoaugmentation with fat transfer following explant to help maintain some volume. Ultimately, you have a variety of options to discuss with your plastic surgeon.

Had always been a small A cup, started sagging more after breastfeeding 2 kids. Wanted upper pole fullness and a large breast size. Agreed on 545cc, ultra high profile, over the muscle. First 3 days were very tight on the chest, lots of pressure, hard to breathe. Lots of burning pain under the ribs and in my back. Skin is very tight with numbness to the breasts and nipples. Updated on 21 Aug 2025: Very happy with how they settled out. They’re very soft now and have moved more towards the center for a better natural cleavage. Still wearing a zip front tighter bra almost 24/7 and sleeping with it on. Still sleeping up at an angle on my back. Minimal pain from the incision sites. Using silicone scar gel and tape. The scars are softening up.

I could not be happier with my results! Dr. Humenansky and her lovely staff was incredibly supportive and kind. They guided me through step by step of my explant procedure which made me feel at ease. Now I’m happy to proceed to my next chapter of life, feeling back to my original self and so grateful to have found Dr. H!
When considering a breast augmentation, one of my top priorities was to find a female surgeon. After seeing Dr. Humenansky’s work, I knew she was the one! She made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process and answered every question I had along the way. I couldn’t be happier with my results and will always recommend Dr. H to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon!
I truly love my Doctor. My Doctor was Kayla Humenansky. She did my bilateral breast reduction and it came out outstanding. I’m so proud grateful and thankful. The whole staff was stupendous. I had an amazing experience and can’t wait to get my other surgeries done with my doctor and her staff. I’m finally able to feel like myself. I have so much more confidence and that’s what I always wanted . Thank you! Doctor Humenansky. I love you!
Dr. Humenansky is very patient and knowledgable and answered all of my questions and concerns. She listened to my goals and explained all of my options thoroughly. I appreciate that she took her time and was conservative, giving me a nice, natural result.
Removing excess fat from my back is something that I have wanted to do for years. I was fortunate to be introduced to Dr Kayla Humenasky when I made an appointment to see Dr Rich. She did a remarkable surgery with total care and compassion. Her quiet, confident demeanor made me comfortable throughout the procedure and afterwards. She is definitely one of the best. Anyone would be fortunate to have her do their procedure.
I have always been self conscious of my big thighs even though I work out daily. I had tried Cool Sculpting in the past and been happy but wanted to cost compare liposuction. I decided to go with the liposuction and I am so extremely happy I did! The results are even more than I expected! I've gotten so many compliments on how "fit" I look. The surgery was only 2 hours and the recovery was pretty easy for me. It's been 4 months and I still wear my compression garment because I actually like it! Kayla is wonderful and answered all my questions and called me to check on me. I wish I did this a lot sooner! Very much worth the money!
I was sent from a previous doctor for a skin cancer found on my nose. There was a hole on my nose where he had previously removed the cancer and I needed to be seen by Dr. Humenansky for the closure and thank goodness I was sent to her! I have ZERO complaints and only good things to say. I could go into further detail but in short she is clearly one of the best doctors in the Columbia area. The patient and doctor relationship couldn't be better an her staff made everything up front as easy as it could possibly be. The timing was excellent, I barely had to wait. I wish every doctors appointment would be this easy!
