Thank you for your question. The increase in fibrous subdermal scar tissue following liposuction is related to the degree of trauma inflicted on the tissue during the removal process. By using devices that reduce the trauma by 80-90% such as Tickle Lipo, Vaser Lipo and Body Jet, the degree of subdermal scar tissue is dramatically reduced. J Plasma and BodyTite use energy to contract the subdermal fibrous bands or septae. This serves to tighten the skin and underlying tissue. In addition, over time, additional collagen synthesis is stimulated. If there is an increase of subdermal scar tissue following these procedures it is more likely related to any associated liposuction.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.

BodyTite should heat those band and thermally cause their destruction or retraction.  I combine BodyTite with liposuction in the majority of cases.  The tissues should be able to drape back down over the areas after heating and the fat removal.
