Would the sonic pulsations of a cleansing device effect the longevity of dermal fillers such as Restylane or Voluma?

I purchased a Luna Foreo, which uses T-Sonic pulsations for exfoliation, to get a deeper clean for my oily, acne-prone skin. I also have received Restalyn and Voluma injections in the past. I am reluctant to use the device for fear it will "break up" the filler sooner than if I cleansed my skin the old fashioned way. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

The fillers will not be affected by the sonic pulsations of the device so you need not be concerned about longevity or displacement

These fillers such as Volumaare hyaluronic acid based and are not affected by epidermal cleansing.  I would not be concerned about using these products to clean your skin.  If you are concerned you should check with your treating physician with the devices that you want to use.  Best, Dr. Green

Thank you for your question.  Fillers like Voluma and Restylane are injected quite deeply into the skin, and using a cleansing brush like the Luna Foreo or a Clarisonic brush should have no impact on their longevity.  Best of luck!
