I'm 30/f. I m wondering if a sliding genioplasty would improve my looks. Would it be worth it?

Hello, thank you for your question. Chin implant would produce a very nice change for you and improve facial balance. Liposuction under the chin may help as well. I recommend you to schedule a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon.

A sliding genioplasty will improve the projection of the chin but will not improve the perioral mounds. Mound reduction requires a direct approach with small cannula liposuction done from inside the corners of the mouth. While one procedure affects the appearance of the other one that is not enough alone to adequately solve the other one.
