I have a deviated septum that I would like to eventually get straightened out. I can't afford any kind of surgery at the moment. However, I've been contemplating getting my septum pierced. I've always like the way it looks. I've tried wearing the temporary jewelry, but they all sit in my nose crooked because of how uneven my septum is... The only way I can see to wear the jewelry is to have the actual piercing. However, I'm wondering if this will cause any problems with future surgery?
