Scar Revision or Hair Transplant to cover hairline lowering scar? (Photos)

Last question, I promise! Should I consider a scar revision or just a FUT/FUE on my hairline lowering scar? It's been about 2.5 years since the procedure. I'm anxious to go under the knife for a scar revision since my scar didn't heal as well as I expected the first time around, and I'm not sure how much better it would get.

Hello, please see below for some tips. It is hard to find doctors for forehead lowering since they need to be experts in 2 areas.  First of all, doctors need to be experts in facial plastic surgery or plastic surgery to lift up the scalp area and advanced along the forehead.  The galea is released during this.  A key component is hiding the scar along the border of the scalp.
The second component is being an expert in hair transplantation.  The hairline is lowered and the scar is camouflaged through hair transplants. 
Look for a surgeon specializing both plastic surgery of the face and who does hair transplants.

Hello - in general we don't recommend hairline lowering like this for men.  It's good for women or those on feminizing hormones.  In your case if you are on hormones a scar revision can help. Otherwise, consider hair grafts.
