Is it safe to use corticosteroid (Kenalog injections) for lumps caused by Biopolymer?

The kenalog will not remove the biopolymer but it has tremendous potential to damage the native fat in your lip. It will be a disaster. It is sometimes possible to remove the filler from behind the lip. For others, we recommend adding a judicious amount of hyaluronic acid filler to blend the areas of biopolymer. Please be careful out there. 

It is not uncommon to use kenalog in treating lips which have been injected with silicone. Kenalog is generally used for unpleasant reactions which can be seen in patients with silicone even many years after augmentation. You can always try a small amount of kenalog in the area of the bumps but if you have no problems with the lips I would not repeat the treatment if the bumps do not decrease in size from the single treatment. Hi there,The steroid won't help that whatsoever and can be problematic as well.  I would suggest scheduling an appointment with a certified injector and they can inject a filler around the area to camouflage those areas.Best of luck..
