Is redness around areola and Scar normal 7 months post op after Breast lift? (photos)

Plastic surgery scars require attention after surgery so that they remain cosmetically-appealing and barely noticeable. Hello, and thank you for your questions and your photo. Based on the limited photos that were provided it does look like you have some widening of your scars. The scars are more than likely continuing to mature and may continue to improve for approximately 12 months following your procedure. In many instances larger implants will promote a widening of the scalp following this procedure. You can discuss all of this with your treating physician. Best of luck.

It is often very difficult to give good advice from photographs. From what I can see, you seem to have normal healing throughout. It is not unusual for scars to improve not only over months but years. It looks like you are off to a good start.
