Hello and thank you for your question and sharing your photos. You do benefit from a rhinoplasty procedure focusing on nasal tip refinement. My best advice is that you discuss your concerns and aesthetic goals with a board-certified plastic surgeon with extensive experience in performing rhinoplasty. I would ask to see before and after pictures of their real patients. It's important that you trust your surgeon's skills and ability to achieve the results you are looking for. In particular, pay attention to your surgeon's experience with rhinoplasty. Best,Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon
Hello,Thank you for your question. A physical examination by an experienced Board Certified plastic surgeon will provide best options for you. You may benefit from refinement of the tip to support and rotate your tip to avoid the droopyness. Alar plasty will fix alar flaring and asymmetries between the nostrils. Possible deviated septum can be treated at the same time. All these interventions can be perfomed with the Closed Approach without opening the nose. The complications you mention I suppose are possible but quite rare. These may result from medical negligence but could also happen when everything is done properly. I can’t comment on the case you mention.
Hello!Radix grafts with cartilage are typically used to increase radix height. Depending on your nose (without photos everything is general of course) septal cartilage or rib may be needed. Permanent fillers are NOT used in the nose and fillers in that region in general have a higher risk of...
Evrencap: I think the celebrity results you have shown...if real... are pretty good but not perfect. I would argue that in the afters, the skin looks a little too thin and a little bit TOO much definition is seen. Likely for these 2 examples, the skin was actually thinned by the surgeon....
In reality, there are significant differences in nasal dorsum presentation. There is no single aesthetic standard that is applicable to all noses and all patients. This aspect of nose is something that needs to be carefully evaluated and discussed with patient before surgery as well as it's r...
