Based on your photos, you appear to have an underprojected and droopy tip, along with a dorsal hump. Depending on your examination, rhinoplasty surgery may be considered for achieving a more projected and lifted tip appearance, along with hump reduction, for a less distracting nasal appearance. You do not appear to be a suitable candidate for fillers. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph
From your photos it is clear that a well performed non surgical rhinoplasty is a great option in your case. I always advise to use a permanent filler when I do these cases and in over 15 years of performing this type of rhinoplasty I have not seen cases were this option was not adequate. I use Bellafil to accomplish this and the results are lifelong unless the depressor muscles of the tip of the nose are too overactive. If that is the case the addition of a very minor surgery to remove these muscles permits a much better outcome. Just make sure your surgeon can show you many similar cases to see if the results are what you are looking for. Good luck
I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist to go over your desired results. Facial fillers (voluma, restylane, juvederm) along with Botox can be used to improve the symmetry of the nose and lift the tip. However, surgery would be needed to improve nostrils or overall shape. About twenty years ago, when I first started performed nonsurgical nose jobs using volumizing fillers, straightening bent, downturned, or beak-like nasal bridges were their primary uses. Today, experienced physician injectors routinely perform nonsurgical nose jobs to improve nasal wall symmetry, straighten irregularities along the "spine" of the nose present naturally or resulting from prior surgical rhinoplasties, and, in your case, for improving nasal tip projection lifting, as well as upwardly rotating the nasal tip. These are advanced injection techniques, which should not be left to novice, inexperienced injectors accustomed only to injecting ordinary Juvederm or plain Restylane into simple smile lines. In expert hands, the entire procedure should take no more than three to five minutes and typically engenders an immediate "Wow!" reaction. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and certainly ask to see his/her before and after photos before agreeing to proceed. Best of luck.
Thank you for your question. It does appear that you are an excellent candidate for use of soft tissue fillers to improve the contour of your nose and to elevate the nasal tip. I would recommend consultation with an injector who is extremely experienced with this and carefully explains the risks and benefits with you.
Thank you for your photo. A non surgical rhinoplasty performed with filler will help blend the angles of your nose to make the lines appear more smooth and proportional. This can be performed with a hyaluronic acid filler such as VOLUMA which can also be reversed with a hyaluronidase injection in case you do not like the look. A surgical rhinoplasty can be performed with the scars on the inside of the nose to help shave down the hump. Thick skin is not particularly concerning in long smooth areas such as the bridge. Surgical rhinoplasty is permanent with more downtime. For the best treatment options, it is important to visit an expert for an in-person examination. Hope this helps!Johnson C. A non surgical rhinoplasty can accomplish a lot of what you want. It can straighten your bridge and hide your bump. It can also shape the tip and give it the appearance that it is turned up. Non surgical rhinoplasty adds volume so it cannot make your nose smaller but it can accomplish a lot of other things. A consultation is very important to examine your nose and give you specific recommendations.
If you have a lump at the top of your nose on the bridge, I'm suspicious that it may be bone or cartilage, not scar tissue. The place where scar tissue can be most prominent and bothersome after rhinoplasty surgery, is in the tip and super tip areas. For a more definitive answer, please consider...
The good news and the bad news ofnon-surgical rhinoplasty is that it is temporary. Nonsurgical rhinoplasty is done by injecting fillers that are temporary. Once the effect of the fillers wear off between six and nine months and maybe even up to 12 months, your nose will look as you did be...
Injectable filler will become completely immobilized within 2 weeks of your treatment. Other than limiting the use of eyeglasses so they should not touch the part of the nose that was injected, you should have no other restrictions. I hope this helps! Sincerely, Dr Joseph
