Do you think my Hemo levels will go up with blood builders? Do they work well with other patients?

I am scheduled for surgery for January 2, 2014. I am getting bbl with liposculpture and breast reduction/lift. I started taking 2 Mega Food Blood Builder a day almost 2 weeks ago. Before that I was taking iron pills for all of a week, but it had me feeling bloated. My hemo levels were at 11.7 the last time I visited the doctors. Do you think my levels will go up with blood builders? Do they work well with other patients? Is it better just to take iron pills? I need my levels to be at 14 for sx.

Thank you for your question, blood builders contain a high level of iron in them, however it does vary from product to product, you should have plenty of time for you to elevate your hemoglobin level until January. After a month of taking blood builders check your hemoglobin again to see how much it helped you, and contact your Doctor, If they are not helping He/She will be able to prescribe a stronger dosage.

It is much better to talk about your low hemoglobin level with your family physician, investigate the cause and plan a treatment plan. Hemoglobin "builder' medical grade are available but very expensive and have their specific indications. When you blood level is normal high your recovery would be better, easier and your healing is much better.
