How long should I wait to have a tummy tuck and BBL after I've had my gallbladder removed?

If the gallbIadder was removed through a small incision, 3 months should be fine in an uneventful case. I personally think 3 months would be fine if you are healthy without significant medicalproblems. Make sure your general surgeon ok's the surgery as well and considermeeting with another PS to see what they say. If your gallbladder surgeryinvolved a large incision rather than camera sized incisions that does changethings, but this is a less common approach these days.

I would recommend to wait 3-6 months between surgeries, but remember that all depends on your health and lab tests.

I think that it is reasonable to wait 3-6 months after intra-abdominal surgery to heal before undergoing a tummy tuck. your body expends a lot of energy to heal from each surgery.

Assuming you had a laparoscopic gallbladder removal and your general surgeon gives you clearence, it seems reasonable to consider tummy tuck and BBL at the 3 month interval. Having said this, there is no absolute right or wrong answer to this question. If you are comfortable with your PS stick with his or her recommendation, because all things considered, the difference between 3 and 6 months is not overly significant. The expertise, judgement, and ability of your PS are much more important considerations.

If your gallbladder removal went normally and a small incision was used 3 months is probably a safe amount of time to wait before you BBL. I would recommend consulting not only your plastic surgeon but also your general surgeon to get similar suggestions.
