I would like to have microneedling RF in my jaw, but I have deep scar tissue from hematoma ( and some on my nasolabial folds). Some drs say that RF softens scar tissue, others that it makes it worse. Am I candidate?

The answer is no, RF will not dissolve filler. I recently published an article regarding this in Dermatol. Surgery. The reason is because the filler is stable, even if exposed to high temperatures for over 10 minutes. RF will only heat the skin for less than 0.8-0.3 seconds. Dr Davin S. Lim

Yes RF can target the Seb glands- oil glands. Agnes insulated RF comes to mind. Other options include LLEDs PDT etc..etc... Deep RF in appropriate DP settings can destroy the sebaceous glands. You will require 3-6 sessions of maximal effect. Combine adapelene given the most recent publications...
