First, I am a bit surprised that you received treatment with Restylane Vital in NY, since it has not been FDA-approved for use in the U.S. I have a great deal of personal experience, however with this product, since it has been regulatory agency approved for use for many years now as a "skin booster" agent for hydrating the skin, very fine wrinkles, and smoothing the skin in Israel where I have a satellite facility. It usually distributes quickly and readily in the skin and the disturbing bumps two months following treatment that you describe are unusual and likely an adverse reaction to treatment. You would do well to return to your treating physician or seek a second opinion by a board certified aesthetic physician who is likely to recommend and initiate treatment with intralesional anti-inflammatory injections, hyaluronidase and possibly even oral antibiotics, depending upon the precise nature and extent of the reaction. Best of luck to you. Going forward, make sure that you receive treatment by an experienced injector.
Unfortunately, Restylane Skinboosters are not as forgiving and smooth as one would suggest. Please find a practitioner skilled in administering hyaluronidase if your injector isn't and have the lumps removed because, although not permanent, they can stay there for years.
