Should I keep applying ice today and tomorrow 24-36 hours post filler injections? What about aloe vera?

I had filler injections in my face yesterday, cheeks and mouth area. I iced immediately afterwards every 20 minutes for about 5 hours. I am applying Arnica gel and taking Arnica pills. I understand that bruising is normal but I'd like to do whatever necessary to speed this up (get rid of the bruise)

Thank you for sharing your question. Arnica and cold compresses are a good idea to help with swelling and bruising. Aloe Vera will probably do nothing to help, but is not likely to cause problems either I hope this helps.Good luck,

Icing, arnica and ibuprofen can help reduce swelling. VBeam treatments can help improve the appearance of the bruising. It will take 1-2 weeks for final results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Bruising is not usual after filler injections but you dont have to put up with it. Continue with the ice, apply Arnica or topical vitamin K cream. Don't opt for an expensive treatment to get rid of temporary side effects. Aloe is a nice plant
