Do lymphatic drainage massages damage BBL results?

Question

Of course we all know that we aren't supposed to sit or lie on our backsides for a few weeks after the surgery -- so I am just wondering how a lot of girls are able to get lymphatic drainage massages, lying down on the massage table, only a few days after their surgery... wouldn't that put pressure on the new fat cells?

every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

I do not recommend lymphatic massages for my patients after liposuction and BBL. This is more plastic surgeon preference than anything else. Lymphatic massage is OK, but I do not think it is mandatory. Carefully orchestrate any lymphatic messages with your plastic surgeon.

Personally I don’t believe massage has any long-term benefit after liposuction or fat transfer procedures.

When patients get a massage after a BBL only the areas treated with Liposuction are being massaged.
