Fat transfer to breast. Is this crease permanent? (Photo)

Question

I recently had a fat Transfer to my breasts about 5 days ago. I noticed a crease forming in the middle of my breasts. My breasts are still stiff, as they are still healing and have not “ dropped and fluffed “ yet. I just wanted to know is this crease permanent?. My PS was able to transfer 400CC to each breast, I’m also wondering what size does that equate to?. Any answers would’ve helpful

Hello, thank you for your question. .Your body is still healing, healing can be associated with lots of strange sensations. Discomfort as you have described is not uncommon. However, if you are concerned, you should speak to or schedule an appointment with your plastic surgeon

Dear Glowgal,
I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a fat transfer surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides  you will be able to see the final result of your surgery.

You are very early in the healing process and still have swelling. The crease is probably from swelling and should slowly go away. Please follow all your post operative instructions. With 400 cc's, if you keep most of the fat, you should see up to a two cup size increase. However, not all the fat survives, as your physician discussed with you, and you may gain a cup or little more. By three months, you will be able to see what size you have become.
