Every surgeon has his/her recommendations concerning healing time. I generally recommend 6-8 weeks of healing time. Dr. ES
Brazilian Butt Lift recovery time is dependent on how the patient’s body reacts to the procedure. Patients usually return to work after a week but you should not sit without the use of cushions for at least two weeks and you must wear a compression garment for several weeks after the procedure. You should wait until at least 2 weeks after the procedure to engage in sexual activity. Swelling and discomfort normally fades at six weeks. After about a month you will be mostly healed and you can get a nice idea of the permanent results after around six months.
Thank you for your question, It regularly takes around 3 months for you to see your actual results and heal completely, however you will need special care the first 3 weeks after the surgery, like not sitting on your buttocks, special diets, medication. After those first weeks you can slowly return to work or your regular activities, and we must wait until 3 or 4 months to resume working out or strenuous activities.
I allow patients to exercise after 6 weeks. Complete resolution of swelling may take 6 months to a year. I perform about 500 Brazilian buttlifts each year, and this procedure is the most surgeon dependent plastic surgery procedure. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of Brazilian buttlifts each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
You should be healed up well enough by 2 weeks. Complete healing will actually take 6 months. By 3-4 months your swelling should be stable.
Hello dear!!Thanks for the question and provided information as well.It can take up to six months to see your final results. I recommend my patients to allow 2-4 weeks for recovery, and to wait at least 7-10 days before going back to work, but each doctor has their own protocol. I also recommend not to sit for more than 30 mins. every two hours, for the first 2 weeks, and always with the help of a boppy pillow. It is very important that you talk to him and follow his instructions.Hope this is helpful. Good luck :)
Most patients resume light daily activities a few days after surgery and return to work in 7-10 (no heavy lifting). There might be swelling for the first 6-8 weeks so it takes at least a few months to achieve final results. Seek a board certified plastic surgeon who performs many of these procedures, has great reviews and photos, and is an expert in this field.
The immediate postoperative healing is about 1-2 weeks. For you to completely resume activities and back to normal is approximately 2 to 3 months. This is obviously highly patient dependent and variable based on the pain threshold, level of activity etc. I find patients like discussing their postoperative outcome with other patients that have undergone similar procedure and this can be arranged after consultation in my offices.
The risks are no more then most plastic surgery liposuctions. There are no consequences other than your buttocks should look great and your tummy should be much thinner.
You are overweight and should get down to a favorable size before contemplating any surgery. I doubt that an hourglass figure can be achieved at your weight. A picture would be helpful.
You can have a Brazilian buttock lift procedure after having previous abdominal liposuction. You must be aware however, that your abdominal skin is more prone to the contour irregularities that already exist in that area. The area will not "smooth out" if you have more liposuction in that area-...
You would be best to have an in person evaluation so that your surgeon can feel for the thickness of fat that you have in various areas. Depending on how much fat you have, this will determine how much of a result you can achieve. I have performed this procedure on a patient that...
Thank you for your question, The drains will help prevent pockets of fluid, every patient heals differently, therefore the time a patient will have the drain on will vary, they regularly come out after the second week, when the patients are draining around 25 CC's during 24 hours, that way we...
