Help.... My legs have all these little black dots all over them and they're unnaturally scarred. (Photos)

Question

After shaving/waxing & now laser they still won't go away so it makes me look like I have hairy legs which is horrible. I feel so bad about it . I've researched it so much and been to so many different skin specialist. Some say peels, some say hair removal laser will do the job (I've had several sessions so far but these marks look just as bad). Any suggestions? they're horribly scarred and my legs have effected me so much. I'm so sorry for the ugly pictures!

These spots can be improved with a combination of lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Our treatments use combination therapy to improve the epidermis and dermis for most deep scars. The options available for acne scars depend on the character of your scars, in terms of topography and contour. We see atrophic and hypertrophic acne scars, as well as scars that have hypo and hyperpigmentation. We begin each scar evaluation with an assessment of scar quality and subtype. Our main concern is rebuilding collagen and that is why we use a HIDEF protocol that includes combination therapy. Morpheus 8, scar subcision, fibrous release, fractional laser, CO2 laser, Thulium laser, PDL Vbeam laser, and fractional resurfacing can be used in addition to TCA Cross and chemical peels to further improve skin. Thank you for posting your question. There are many options for treating dark scars. Hydroquinone bleaching cream can help lightening them. IPL intensive pulse light treatments, CO2 laser, and chemical peels can also rejuvenate skin and blend existing scars. As of now, I recommend putting on sunscreen and avoiding sunlight exposure to reduce further hyperpigmentation. Best of luck.
