I had 2 vials injected under my chin, it started working very fast. Within a week my double chin was gone, however, it appears the Kybella manifested its way up my cheeks and my entire lower face is much smaller. My face also went from a round face to a V shape face. My chin is now v shape. It ate away all the volume in my face all in a matter of 22 days! My face stings! Help! How do you get Kybella to stop eating away at my fat!

Answer: Excessive results from Kybella i'm not a fan of this treatment at all. Everything about it seems wrong and complications like what you describe confirm this. In your case it sounds like the treatment was simply too effective. At this point there's no way to slow down or reverse the process. I suggest giving it six months then reassessing. If your facial fed volume loss is severe enough that it needs to be treated then you're in for a challenge. A proper assessment should look at skeletal structure, skin muscle and fat. If simple volume replacement is what's needed then your options will be fillers or fat transfer. Since you live in New York I would suggest looking into Sidney Coleman MD at Tribeca plastic surgery. He's one of the pioneers of fat transfer especially facial fat transfer. He has a lot of experience including taking care of undesirable outcomes from other treatments. Fed transfer may or may not be an appropriate option for you. At this point I can't think of anything other than being patient and waiting at least six months. Perhaps sharing with the real self community about the potential disasters this treatment could end up delivering would serve others so other people will not have to go through the same thing.
