I read that infini helps treat festoons. Mine were caused by voluma (most of which i dissolved) and are only visible when I smile.
Answer: Morpheus8 can help reduce appearance of festoons. Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon

Answer: Infini for festoons A true festoon is inflammation at a deeper level and Infini would not correct this. Infini can, though, help with skin tightening. I would recommend consulting with an oculoplastic specialist to see which technique would be best for your. Good luck on your journey

Answer: Will Infini work for malar mounds? Infini is one of the better ways to treat malar mounds. There is actually a paper that documents improvements by Roy Geronemus. You must make sure all the filler is removed prior to treatment. Festoons are more related to excessive skin in this area and probably not what you have.

Answer: Infini and Festoons. Thank you for your question. Infini treats the epidermis and dermis of the skin. Festoons are a swelling below the lower eyelid skin due to the underlying lymphatics or a filler. If the filler is dissolved, infini may help contract the skin in this area. I would consult with an expert before undergoing this procedure .

Answer: Infini (and Genius) RF and festoons Infini-- and the newer version of the device, Genius, will work to tighten the skin. If using a deep setting (which I would NOT recommend around the eyes) you could conceivably dissolve some superficially placed filler, but I would not do this. Any residual filler contributing to puffiness should be dissolved with hyaluronidase. If there is herniated fat, only surgery will remove that.
