I will stay at least for about 60 minutes at a smile position. My nose will be forced during the laser teeth bleaching. Will this have any harm for my nose? It's also a laser treatment. Some light may come on my nose. I had a open surgery. I'm afraid that the light will harm the incisions or the tip of my nose. I will have only glasses on during the treatment for protecting my eyes. But at this stage I'm more afraid of my nose for getting any harm.
Answer: Oral Procedure and Rhinoplasty Recovery, No Correlation Your potential oral treatment poses no eminent threat to your recovering nose. At this stage of your recovery, your nose should be stable enough that your results will not be compromised even if you will be forced to smile for a prolonged period of time as you described. I definitely suggest that you inform your dentist of your recent cosmetic surgery, so that he or she can exercise caution when coming in close contact with your nose. Still, you should rest assured that your teeth bleaching treatment should not compromise the results of your recent rhinoplasty.

Answer: OK to bleach Your nose should be fine after 6 weeks. You should be putting sunblock on your nose every day of the year as well as on the rest of your face. You need to protect against UVA and UVB light so you should have zinc or titanium or avobenzone in the sunblock. 35 to 55 is fine. Neutrogena healthy defense is a good brand for the face.

Answer: Nose job, nasoplasty, oral procedure safety Hi, There should be no issue with your nasoplasty/incision under nose. Just share with your dentist that you have a "sore nose" such that he/she does not mistakenly rough up your nose. I cannot imagine that happening but just something that you can suggest. Having said that, with you being this far out from your procedure, there is little chance that anything really would hurt your nose in this situation. It would take a very hard hit to move the nasal bones that were moved during your nasoplasty. The tip is cartilege and thus can withstand quite a bit of motion anyway. Good luck with the bleaching and your enjoyment of your nasoplasty.

Answer: At six weeks, your nose should be reasonably stable Hi there. By six weeks, there's generally enough healing under the skin that it would be hard to do anything to mess up your result. I don't think you'll have a problem if you want to have tooth whitening. The light shouldn't be an issue either. If you're concerned and want to do something, you can apply SPF 50 sunscreen to your nose about 30 minutes prior to going for your treatment. Make sure it's ok with your dentist first. Good luck!
