I want to combine microderm/hydrafacial with microneedling for improved results. How many days do I have to wait after the hydrafacial to have the microneedling performed for textural irregularities?

Hello SabbyCeth, This is a great question. The treatments you have chosen are great to improve your skin texture and give you a wonderful glowy look. I would space your microneedling at least 4-6 weeks apart. Our office starts with a good microderm to clean the skin, the microneedling can be done 1-2 weeks later . We recommend an average 4-6 series of microneedling for optimal results .The microneedling can be combined with PRP for the best outcome. Once you have completed your microneedling series , then you can maintain your skin with monthly hydrafacial/microderm treatments.You can also alternate your Microneedling and Hydrafacials , at least 3 weeks apart if you wish.

I would start with a series of microneedling treatments. I usually recommend 4-6 total treatment sessions having 1 session per month. After that you can maintain your results using Hydrafacial or microdermabrasion once every 1-2 months.

Hydrofacial or microdermabrasion can be done before the microneedling sessions or 2-3 days after microneedling, making sure the skin is not irritated. Always confirm with the physician performing the microneedling.
