In my opinion, no problems should develop if you did not massage your buttocks after a Sculptra treatment. The treatment should still work. I normally massage the treated area after Sculptra injections but do not have the patients do so unless they want to.
Hi, thank you for your question! The 5,5,5 massage that we have patients do after injection is just a recommendation. The massage helps prevent nodules and build up of sculptra in one area of the buttocks. The sculptra will still work without performing the massage.
The massage aspect of Sculptra post-procedure care is important. It has less to do with the efficacy of your procedure, and more to do with the avoidance of lumps and bumps that can form. The goal is to have a more homogenous collagen increase and not lumps or nodules of collagen in the injected areas. So your Sculptra will work without massage, but to avoid less desirable side effects you really want to perform the proper massage: 5 minutes, 5 times a day for 5 days.
Sculptra BBL is a very easy procedure with reproducible results in the hands of an experienced plastic surgeon. There are no post-operative treatments needed as long as the procedure is done correctly. The patient simply forgets about having had the procedure and waits as their buttocks grow in size over the next 3 to 4 months. I hope this helps and good luck from New York City plastic surgery

Few issues are presented in your inquiry. #1. Your understanding of the action biologically of Sculptra. It is a stimulator to cause your own tissues to grow, reproduce, enlarge over time. It is a dose dependent injection or in other words the more injected in a solution the better the results...
Thank you for your question and posting your pictures. I would recommend starting with 4 vials per side and reevaluate after 8 to 10 weeks. New collagen formation can take up to 6 months or more but a good assessment can be made at the 8 to 10 week mark.In our office, we combine Emsculpt with...
