Does hair loss caused by intake of tetracycline grow back? Is tetracycline scarring?

Thank you for posting your question. It is not very common for patients to lose hair while being on tetracycline, it is best to seek the doctor that prescribed it, and possibly see a dermatologist. If it's the medication causing the hairloss, then once you stop taking it, it should return. Consider Minoxidl as well, and see if that helps, but will take several months to see a difference. 

Tetracycline is not a common cause of hair loss. Be sure to meet with a dermatologist specializing in hair loss to determine if tetracycline is contributing to your hair loss. Tetracycline causes a non scarring hair loss in the rare event it does cause hair loss. Tetracycline is used to treat some forms of hair loss. 

This is unusual from my experience. You should see a doctor to get a thorough examination of your hair and scalp including miniaturization studies and a HAIRCHECK examination (see post below). With that information, your doctor may be able to properly diagnose the cause of your hair loss and suggest treatments that are appropriate.
