So to increase the density in the same areas, i’m going to do another fue. How long after can I have another fue in safety? I don’t care if I can improve with the thickening( so I don’t want to wait the time necessary for the thickening) because I wanna improve the density of this first HT, ABSOLUTELY as soon as possible , but at the same time , I want to do it only when it’s safe ( for the skin- for the hair..) but , ASHP in safety
Answer: Consult with your surgeon. If you are considering surgery it would be best to discuss your options with a doctor. You need to explain to your doctor your goals and expectations. The doctor needs to examine you to give you a better assessment of when it is safe to have another procedure.

Answer: Second FUE: how long after? I had a FUE not many months ago but I am not very satisfied. I will have to respectfully disagree with Dr. Rassman. 3600 grafts taken from a donor of average density will not decrease it to the point of not having a second procedure of 3600 grafts or more. Further surgeries would definitely cause a noticeable density decrease. In your case you need to step back and not be so aggressive with having a second procedure. Let these graft grow out for the better 8 to 12 months and then reassess at that point.

Answer: Second Procedure It all depends where the hair was initially transplanted. If the the hair was transplanted in the frontal forelock/hairline, it is generally safe for a second procedure in the same area at around 9 months. For vertex/crown cases it is best to wait a full year before re-grafting.

Answer: When to get a second hair transplant If you are planning on having a second transplant into the same recipient area it would be best to wait at least 6 months in order to see the growth. Then, any area with sparse growth may be fine tuned during a second transplant. The reason you have to wait for at least 6 months is because by that time you should be able to evaluate for growth from your first transplant. Performing a transplant any sooner may risk putting new grafts on top of an area that is supposed to grow, but isn't visible yet.
