Had a major gynecomastia procedure 8 years ago and am still not comfortable with the results. Have terrible scarring which I have been talking to someone about scar revision but also not happy with the looks of my areola area. Whenever I flex, my nipples fold in and don't look aesthetic at all. Is there any procedure that can fix this up?
Answer: Gynecomastia Thank you for your question. Looking at your photos I do believe your a great candidate for a scar revision. I would suggest seeing a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in person so they can evaluate your specific issue. Your surgeon may want to start with some kenalog injections to help soften the scar. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Gynecomastia You do appear to be a good candidate for a breast revision. The procedure could involve scar revision with possible fat transfer and Kenalog injection if your scar is wide and thick. It is best that you meet with a plastic surgeon in your area who can meet with you and develop a treatment plan with you.

Answer: Revision Gynecomastia In NYC - The Dangers Of Incisions I am always disheartened when I see an incision on a male chest as a result of gynecomastia surgery, because there are advanced techniques that can be employed that do not leave any incision near the nipple-areolar complex for a primary gynecomastia surgery. The beauty of this approach is that a patient does not have to exchange embarrassment of male-breast tissue for embarrassment of incisions. Nonetheless, you are now with incisions and possible lack of subcutaneous fat. Corrective surgery can be performed to improve the look of the incisions as well as to correct the contour irregularities.

Answer: Gynecomastia Surgery Revision Kolan2020 I appreciate your concern, however physical exam is needed to provide a more detailed recommendation. However it appears from your photographs that scar revision with micro liposuction and possibly fat grafting would be your best option. Come see me or another board-certified plastic surgeon in our area for a full evaluation. Good luck.
