I had restylane W board certified ps in October. Hyaluronidase will only dissolve my own tissue not the filler. I have the lot number and expiration date. Galderma confirmed it is a US product. But if a seller sells counterfeit filler it can also use a lot number from a real batch. I questioned my physician and she does not reply when I questioned her. I threatened patient abandonment. How do I find out if I was injected with real product?

Hi @RomiNash! Most facial filler products that are injected into this area should ideally be placed in the tissue plane directly on top of the bone, or at least underneath the eyelid muscle layer. If a facial filler product is placed too superficially in the skin, or on top of the muscle layer,...
When injected properly, lip filler should not migrate into the philtrum, unless the injection was in the philtrum itself as part of the treatment goal. Make sure you go to the doctor who personally injects and has done a lot of injections with excellent results.
Thank you for sharing your question. There should be no problem with having fillers injected 2 weeks after cataract surgery. Discuss this with your surgeon and have a board certified oculoplastic surgeon perform in person evaluation to discuss potential options.
