Which type of fillers should I use for my temples?

As we age, the face naturally loses volume, specifically in areas like the temples and brow area. Soft tissue fillers like Radiesse are great for lifting the brow, filling out the temples, and making the face appear more youthful. Hi @realselfprofileabc! Restylane Lyft and Juvederm Voluma work great in treating the temples. Typically, 1 syringe in each temple is common. In my opinion, Radiesse is an excellent filler for the temples. It lifts well, is cost-effective and will last about a year. Be sure to see a surgeon experienced with injections to this area.  Best wishes.

Great question, for the best possible results I would recommend a filler like restylane  or juvaderm to give you back the volume that you have lost. For the best results you want to have a consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Best of luck. 

The temple area is an important area to fill.  I have used voluma injected over the lateral brow, which can also raise the brow as well.  I also use Sculptra with good success to fill if the area is large.

The temple is an oft neglected, but very important aesthetic unit of the face. Age-related atrophy within the temples can not only lead to the "peanut shape" you are complaining of, but secondarily to drooping of the brow and hooding of the upper lids. Treating the temples often leads to secondary improvements in the above regions. In my NY practice, I typically choose Juvederm Ultra Plus XC for the temples and in my Israel satellite facility, where a far greater number of regulatory agency approved volumizing fillers are available I typically opt for Princess Volume or Aliaxin SR for this purpose. The temples require advanced injection training and skill are not sites that should be left to the hands of novice injectors and medspas. Make sure that you consult with a board certified aesthetic physician and ask to see his/her personal before and after photos. To correct volume loss in the temporal area, which is often overlooked yet very important for maintaining a youthful profile, I like to use Sculptra or Voluma for these areas. It will depend on how much volume loss you have to determine the number of vials. Voluma will provide more instantaneous results, where Sculptra can take several sessions and will have a delay before results are seen, however Sculptra still remains a great choice for this area.Best of luck, Dr P.

We use a combination of Fillers and Sculptra to restore volume to the sunken temples. The fillers provide immediate improvement, and the Sculptra provides long term results. Make sure you see an experienced physician injector for an in-person consultation and evaluation.
