What are the cons of an internal bra? My surgeon said you can get asymmetrical breasts.

I would like to know all the cons of an internal bra. My surgeon said you can get asymmetrical breasts with an internal bra. But how big is that change? And do you feel an internal bra when touching the breasts? Does it hurt more? Do you need more recovery time? I guess i should ask him those things, but he told me that if I did not use an internal bra, my breasts would only hang more...but bottoming out and hanging aren't the same to me...So I hope that your knowledge can clarify things for me.

There are 2 uses for an internal bra: to support the breast shape after a lift, and to support an implant. The answer to your question depends on which is your situation. I think of the internal bra as an option for correction of asymmetry where support is needed.

An internal bra usually refers to placing a mesh like gala flex or an ADM inside to support the breast.  An internal bra does not in and of itself cause asymmetry.
