Is it possible to change the eye and eye socket shape?

Yes, the bony structure around the eye can be adjusted and this is something I do several times each week.  Typically it is done along with adjusting the bones of the forehead but can be done in isolation.  Of course, photographs and a personal consultation are critical to determine if your goals are achievable.Please watch our videos to learn more.

Eye shape is dictated by multiple structures including eyelids, eyeballs, orbits, and surrounding structures. Changes can be made but there are limitations based on individual anatomy and safety. Personal evaluation is needed to determine what is possible.

Various types of supraorbital, lateral orbital and infraorbital augmentation can be done or combinations thereof. The use of bone cements would not be the the way to do it however. It is best done using custom designed implants made from the patient's 3D CT scan. This assures a smooth result that is located and fits to the exact orbital area that needs augmented as well as being able to be placed with the smallest incision(s) possible.
