Capsular contracture help. Scared and concerned, need advice?

Question

In Jan. 2017 I had breast mastopexy periareolar and breast augmentation. In the January picture below post opp things looked good. Now you see my left breast is deformed & I don't think the right one is looking so great either. It's 10 weeks post opp now. My Doctor has set me up with 10 sessions of Aspen Ultrasound. I've had 2 so far. How do I know the implant wasn't damaged? I'm looking for another consult with a doctor based in NYC. If you've done several breast revisions please reply.

The ultrasound may help so you should give it a shot. An exam in person is really the only way to determine if you have a capsule or not.  If it is truly a capsular contracture, then a revision will likely be necessary. Best of luck.

It's highly unlikely that the implant is damaged --- as you are only 10 weeks post op you still have time to drop and soften if it is going to happen. If nothing improves, and you want another opinion, there are plenty of board certified plastic surgeons in NY who would talk to you. Good Luck.
