Dear melissa,Thank you for your question. The general course for a bruise is from blue black, to green, to yellow and finally back to your original skin colour. Bruises can occur immediately, or a few days after. Generally, bruises resolve in 7 to 14 days. After 2 months, what you are seeing is likely the Tyndall effect, which is a bluish discoloration that appears if hyaluronic acid fillers are injected too superficially under the skin. Another possibility is hyperpigmentation from hemosiderin deposits. It's best to review with your doctor, who may offer you the option of dissolving the filler.I hope this helps.
It's very atypical to have bruising 2 months after treatment. It could be tyndall effect. I would recommend following up with your injector.
Bruising usually does not last 2 months. It is possible that what you are seeing is the Tyndall effect, which is a bluish discoloration that appears if hyaluronic acid fillers are injected too superficially into the skin. The filler is a clear gel so when light reflects through it through the skin it appears bluish. The discoloration may also be due to a hyperpigmentation reaction from the injection. In order to determine the cause for the discoloration following filler injection, a proper physical exam is necessary. I recommend following up with your doctor who performed the injections or a facial plastic surgeon.
It's hard to tell from this photo the exact reason for this discoloration. It's unusual for bruising to last 2 months. This could be hyperpigmentation of the skin under the eye or Tyndall effect possibly. I would discuss it with your injecting physician and have them take a look. Good luck
Thanks for your question. You have a very prominent glabellar complex (corrugator and procerus muscles). This is most effectively treated with a neurotoxin (Botox, Dysport or Xeomin) injected approximately every 3 months. Over time it will get less and less deep as long as you stay consistent...

Thank you for your question! NO! Fillers cannot be saved and reused due to the risk of infection. The FDA did not approve fillers to be saved and reused after they have been opened. I would never expose my patients to the risk! Best of luck!
