Can Botox results affected by climate? What can be done?

I've never head of climate having an affect on Botox results. However, I have found that having your first few Botox sessions scheduled at regular 3-4 intervals does make your subsequent visit results last longer. So maybe that's what's going on with you.

The climate that a person resides in should not affect the results of a Botox treatment.  In some cases, it is possible to use a higher dose of Botox to extend the life of the result, but there is a point where adding more would not be helpful.  

I have not heard of Botox being effected by climate.  It can be effected by stress levels.  You were likely more relaxed over the Summer, allowing your Botox to work longer.  Other factors which effect Botox's longevity include dilution of the Botox being injected, and if you get ill.   Getting sick can shorten its effect.

Thank you for your question.  It is unlikely Botox is or can be affected by climate, the differences you are noticing are likely due to the skill of the injector, dilution of Botox, and/or the time from when first mixed to actually injected.  There was some thought a few years ago that zinc may increase the longevity of Botox, and there was a product Zytaze that was marketed for this purpose, however no one can say definitively whether it does in fact have an effect so most patients are not interested in trying it.  Regards, Dr. Matt Elias

The interplay between climate and the efficacy and duration of effect of Botox treatment has not been well studied.  Though it is fathomable that hot weather could be a factor here, I think it is unlikely.  The skill of the Dermatologist and the number of units injected will significantly affect your treatment results.

I have never heard of the climate affecting the Botox. I do know that some patients that are very active like personal trainers metabolize it a bit quicker than others.

There are a lot of unconfirmed theories about Botox. I have not heard of any effects by weather change. But since no proper studies done about it (as far as i know), the answer is we do not know. The only way to confirm or refute it is to have a proper study conducted. In most probability it should not be effected much if at all. You raise an interesting observation, but I have never heard of a correlation between Botox length of efficacy and climate.

Botox potency and duration of effect are not influenced by humidity. You may be experiencing the effects of different provider technique or less muscle contraction and frowning while on vacation.
