Thank you for your question. There are thoughts that electrical stimulation may metabolize the Botox faster. Botox does take 3 months to wear way. All the best,
Absolutely not. This will make no difference in your recovery. Botox works by causing the elimination of nerve endings that contact the muscles that are contracting excessively. Botox lasts 3-4 months because it takes that long for the nerve endings to regenerate. You cannot stimulate what isn't there. However, you can cause other problems in the process. Be patient as you recover and if you're physician injector is not properly caring for you seek a second opinion. Stephen Weber MD, FACSDenver Facial Plastic Surgeon
This doesnt work to get rid of the botox effects more quicky. you will have to wait 3-4 months to see the effects reverse. Best, Dr. emer.
Botox blocks the synaptic junction and it does not matter how that muscle is stimulated, it will not reverse for 3-4 months. If you are concerned about something, please ask your provider.Take care
Recovery from botox is not accelerated by external electrical stimulation. It will take 3-4 months. Discuss any concerns with your doctor.
The muscle will recover some 3 months after the injection. Electrical stimulation will not make it recover faster.Hope this helps,Dr. Gus Diaz

You could still directly stimulate the muscle to move with an electric stimulation but this would not lead to you being able to voluntarily move the muscle. On average, it takes about 3 months for the results of Botox to wear off.If you have had Botox and are not happy with the results I would recommend you follow up with your injector for an evaluation. I hope his helps and good luck.
Thank you for your question. Without a photo it is hard to provide an accurate answer. That being said those muscles could be compensating for the lack of movement to the crows feet. Speak to your injector and discuss an injection to your bunny lines. All the best,
Thank you for your question pellman222. I understand your concern. Botox is a purified protein used to address wrinkles associated with facial expression. When injected into the skin Botox will relax the muscles and smoothen out the overlying wrinkles. The most common areas of treatment are in ...
Thank you for your question. What you have described is very rare and mostly likely the needle hit a sensory nerve. There is no need to worry as there is no long term effect. The nerve most likely has a small bruise on it and will take some time to heal. I recommend following up with injector...
