I had my rhinoplasty in 12/2021. I was in love with the way my nose looked the first few months after my rhinoplasty. Currently, I feel my nose has looked different and it’s not the same as the first or second month post-op. I thought it would be to my nose swelling up but I just find the structure changing with time. I’m wondering why it doesn’t look the same those few months after my surgery.

Hello, I assume you are referring to the nostril retainers that some surgeons (myself included) use after surgery to support your nostrils? These are different than the internal splints (Doyle splints) that are used after some rhinoplasties to support the bones and septum.

You'll need to ask your surgeon, who should have already discussed this with you preop. N95's are an issue, I'm convinced I've seen at least one patient where they caused a problem, and I had spent a lot of effort making a really solid structure in that case as I knew the patient was a nurse!
