Is teeth whitening the right course to fix this discolouration on my front two teeth? (photos)

From the age of 10, I have had a dark discolouration on my two front teeth. It’s gotten worse over the years and I am planning on getting teeth whitening. I am wondering is this the right course to take to fix this issue?
