Hello. I'm 23 and I'm researching procedures to improve my facial attractiveness. So far I'm seriously considering cheek fat transfer to give more volume to the upper part of my face. I'm also considering a lip lift and lip augmentation. Can you please tell me your thoughts?
Answer: Fat transfer Your face is long, and a great way to improve its shape is with fat transfer. By building the upper third with fat (temples, cheeks), a heart shaped face can be created. You also appear to have what is called a "negative vector" -- a term that describes the position of the lower orbital rim. It is recessed, creating an imbalance. Fat transfer to the malar area will improve this imbalance. As far as the lip goes, your upper lip is long. A lip lift would improve the appearance of the peri-oral area and also harmonize the face by making it look less long. Lip implants remain a superior alternative to fat transfer for permanent lip fullness.

Answer: Lots of options, but be more specific It is helpful if you are a little more specific about your concerns--while there are objective standards of facial beauty that can be applied, you will be happier with the results if you are specific with what you would like to address, and then your plastic surgeon can guide you through your options and make the best plan for you. Cheek augmentation with fat grafting or fillers is a great option if you would like to define your cheekbones more and get more of a heart shape to your face. Lip augmentation is a great option as well obviously if you want more lip definition and fullness. Determining if you are a good candidate for a lip lift or not would best be done in an in-person examination. Best of luck!

Answer: Fat Transfer Hello! Fat transfer can work very well for providing augmentation to the face. We often harvest it from around the abdomen. More volume needs to be initially added as 30-50% may not take after 1-3 months. The results are usually very natural and last 5-10 years on average. A lip lift can help, but there is a scar which may be visible. If you haven't tried lip filler, that would be a good start. Fat can be added to the lips though you have to be careful with the symmetry. I think you have some good thoughts and I would seek consultation with a facial plastic surgeon to learn more. Hope this is useful!
