Would I benefit most from a chin implant to improve my profile? (Photos)

Hi! I’ve had chin filler 2x over the past 4 years but now I think I’m ready to take the leap and get a chin implant. Do you think I’d benefit from both chin implant and chin lipo? I have some fat under the chin but I can’t tell if it’s tissue. I also currently weight 118 lbs, 5’5” so I can’t lose any more weight. Thanks in advance for the advice

They are appealing: quick surgery, cheap, outpatient management and veeery easy technical for the surgeon, even the less skilled and experienced can do them, however they have very bad downsides, in practical terms they have short duration due to pain, displacement, visibility, mobility, weird...

If you have a retrusive chin appearance, and if you are self-conscious about the appearance of your chin, there is little downside to getting a chin implant. Surgery may be performed with local anesthetic with minimal inconvenience and downtime. If you like, feel free to re-ask your question...

A chin implant will sometimes compress the underlying bone and create a hollow into the bone. Also, the skin is going to stretch. A 4mm implant may not give a 4mm projection. Most surgeons use sizers at the time of surgery to assess what looks appropriate. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
