Fractional laser is an amazing and highly effective treatment in our office. We use the laser treatment to help with acne scars, large pores, fine wrinkles, tissue collagen loss, scars, sebaceous hyperplasia, active acne, and for brightening dark pigmentation. Although there are very strong fractional lasers such as CO2 laser, we use lighter treatments for corrective skincare and maintenance of results. Our Thulium fractional laser, clear and brilliant laser, and Ultra Thulium laser are excellent options in our clinic. We also perform CO2 fractional and erbium depending on skin tone and tolerance for downtime. Patients do have to use a Melarase cream before and after treatment to help further reduce pigmentation after laser. Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads can seriously improve surface sun damage and UV related pigmentation. Dark spots can improve with these treatments. I recommend fractional laser for incisional scars as well, especially after plastic surgery. Best,Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
There are several fillers that can be used to improve neck lines. Your injector can review the pros and cons of each and help you make an informed decision. You may have the best outcome from a combination of treatments. Morpheus8 can be used in conjunction with the filler treatment to improve overall skin tone and texture. We also recommend using medical grade skin care products like Transform MD and wearing sunscreen every day.
Thank you for your question. Neck lines, also called "tech neck" or horizontal neck wrinkles, can be a cosmetic concern for many individuals. While hyaluronic acid fillers, like the RHA collection, are commonly used for facial wrinkles, there are alternative techniques that may be more suitable and effective for treating neck lines, depending on the severity and your overall goals. At our clinic, we often recommend a combination of treatments tailored to improve the neck’s overall texture, tone, and elasticity. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is an excellent, minimally invasive option. PRP uses your own blood plasma, rich in growth factors, to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity naturally. This approach enhances the skin’s quality without the need for synthetic fillers, and results appear gradual but long-lasting.For more pronounced lines, Accent Prime, a technology combining ultrasound and radiofrequency, is an effective solution. This treatment tightens the skin, promotes collagen production, and improves elasticity without adding volume, which makes it ideal for areas like the neck. It’s non-invasive, requires no downtime, and produces a natural, refreshed look. For patients looking for an immediate lift, Silhouette InstaLift threads can subtly tighten the neck area while promoting collagen regeneration over time. This minimally invasive approach works well for mild to moderate laxity and offers natural-looking results. Finally, we emphasize the importance of preventative skincare to maintain results and protect your skin. Daily use of medical-grade moisturizers, retinoids, and broad-spectrum sunscreen can significantly slow the formation of new lines. The right treatment depends on your specific anatomy, concerns, and goals. A consultation with an experienced practitioner can help determine the best combination of therapies for you, providing beautiful and natural results.
Thanks for your question. One of the very best for this is a hyaluronic acid type (dissolvable) filler called RHA Redensity. It is uniquely formulated to be able to be placed very superficially yet blend in very well so that it does not look like 'ridges'. It works well for fine lines elsewhere too of course, such as forehead and around the lips and around the eyes. You can use their physician finder to find someone in your area who carries this line of fillers- click on the box that says "Experience the RHA Collection" and you will be directed to their physician finder page. I hope that helps.
