To make an assessment regarding the outcome of a plastic surgery procedure we always need to see a complete proper said a before and after pictures. If you don’t have before and after pictures and asked your surgeon to forward the pictures they took. We don’t know what you look like before the procedure then it’s difficult to assess the outcome. Lower eyelid fat transposition is a fairly complex procedure. It has the potential of fixing two problems with one procedure. There are also inherent limitation because the fat pads need to remain attached to their origin. Plastic surgeons generally make assessments with neutral facial expression. The contraction of facial muscles can create dynamic changes that may be less than ideal from an anesthetic perspective. We can’t usually block those muscular movement so if issues are related to expression or functional muscle movement then that may need to be accepted as part of the outcome.Consider re-posting with proper before and after pictures.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
