Answer: Laugh Lines / Nasolabial Folds - Fillers + Sculptra, Lasers like Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, Radiofrequency, Peels, Skin Care I recommend fillers to soften the nasolabial folds themselves and also lift around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine Sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, skin tightening treatments such as Thermage, Fractora, and Renuvion (J Plasma), thread lifting, and peels to get the most conservative, natural look. I suggest seeing a facial sculpting expert for a formal consultation. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Restoring Facial Contours After Weight Loss: Insights from Dr. Goel at Prime Vitality Hi! It's great to hear about your commitment to health and wellness. After significant weight loss, it’s not uncommon for facial structures to change, and many patients experience shifts in their cheekbones and overall facial volume. 1. Understanding Facial Changes: As you lose weight, you may notice changes in your facial volume, which can affect how your cheekbones appear. The loss of fat can lead to a more hollow look in areas like the cheeks and nasolabial folds, which can contribute to sagging. 2. Sculptra and Fillers: Sculptra is designed to stimulate collagen production over time, which can help restore volume and improve skin elasticity. While you are in the early stages of healing, it may take a few months to see the full effects. Cheek fillers provide immediate volume but are temporary. Combining both treatments is a good strategy for achieving more lasting results. 3. Future Weight Loss: As you continue your weight loss journey, it’s possible that your facial contours may continue to change. However, significant weight loss can sometimes lead to more pronounced sagging. Maintaining a stable weight is generally recommended once you reach your goal to minimize further changes. 4. Additional Treatments: If you’re concerned about sagging skin and nasolabial folds, consider discussing additional options with a qualified professional. Treatments like Facetite or Morpheus8 can help tighten the skin and improve the overall appearance of your facial structure. 5. Consulting with Dr. Goel: I recommend scheduling a consultation with me or another specialist at Prime Vitality to discuss your concerns in detail. We can create a personalized plan tailored to your goals, ensuring you achieve the results you desire while supporting your weight loss journey. Remember, changes take time, so be patient as your body continues to adjust. We’re here to support you every step of the way!
