I got 400/425 cc saline implants high profile done in 2013. Two pregnancies later, I’m FINALLY getting a mommy makeover in 5 weeks! I attached my wish pic, and I’m going for a second consult next week to discuss goals. Would 495cc SRX ultra high implants help me achieve the goal pic? We’re not doing a lift, and I want them to be as lifted as possible and fill the volume I lost. Thanks!
Answer: Size and Profile Selection Good morning, Congratulations on your upcoming surgery, but you do need more volume. UHP sounds great, but only going up to 495 is not going to fill in the gap- I would suggest the 600cc range.

Answer: Implants Your breast naturally sit somewhat low on your chest and that cannot be change. A higher profile will give more upper breast fullness with a more narrow implant base. Please do not choose an implant that is too heavy for your tissue or frame, or you will just sag more in the future.

Answer: Ultra high profile Thanks for your question! I don't think that extra high profile implants are the answer. The wish photo has beautiful fullness but it is more natural than what an extra high profile will typically give. Looking at your anatomy, depending on what profile you currently have, I would likely recommend something wider with a bit more projection. Also, I would switch to silicone because that will give you a more natural look and feel. Good luck!

Answer: Implant exchange Your question is difficult to answer without an examination. The extra volume and increased projection will fill the skin envelope but if you are truly wanting a perkier look it is best to get a lift. I encourage you to discuss your concerns with your surgeon who has measured your breasts and best understands your surgical goals.

Answer: Implant size Dear librabby, breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.
