Can I go for a facial treatment between laser hair removal appointments?

I would like to do a bridal facial and i wanted to know if my skin can handle it. i will not do the bleach, waxing or tweezing. Will just go for the normal blackhead removal and facial mask. Is it okay to go for it?

Thank you for your question in regards to laser hair removal. Basic facials between laser treatments are okay, although waiting 2 weeks after treatment is suggested. To be sure what is best for you, see two or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have treatment. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Getting a basic facial is perfectly fine between laser hair removal appointments. Extractions, cleansing and even microdermabrasion should not have any effect on your results. To be safe, wait at least 2 weeks after your last treatment before getting a facial. I recommend visiting a medical spa where the aesthetician knows about your laser hair removal treatments.

It is perfectly safe to have a facial between laser treatments.  It is recommended to wait 2 weeks after the laser treatment before doing so to minimize the chance of any irritation, but we do this very often in our office.  I would just make sure you don't do any waxing or plucking of hairs that you are trying to have a laser remove.
