Can laser hair removal cause hair to permanently turn white?

I have had Brazilian laser hair removal and have noticed hair turning white and not falling out. Can this sometimes happen? I hate the way t looks

LHR can lighten the color of the hair but not permanently. It may take the color out of the exposed hair but it will grow back normal color if it is not lost. I wouldn't worry about this. On the face, sometimes doing laser peels, the hair will turn a blonde color and most people like that better than darker hairs.
