About two years ago I had a lipoma removed from my upper back. At the time I had it removed it did not hurt .now lately I have a pain in the same exact spot and it radiates down my back and wraps around to the front . When I went to my regular doctor the other day he told me it has nothing to do with the lipoma ,just has to do with aches and pains of getting old I am 52! Pain feels like a Charlie horse or a bad cramp and is constant .

Multiple small lipomas can typically be surgically removed under local anesthesia with a resultant small scar over each. Unfortunately, there are not any nonsurgical methods that are well-tested and effective at removing them.
