Weird creases in my eyelids continue to get worse. How long does it take to see the final result of Botox? It has been two weeks, and they are more pronounced. Went back to the doctor and he said "its not that bad....." Offered to inject me again, I declined. Im seriously questioning his skill leveI. I am getting bangs tomorrow to help hide this.
Answer: BOTOX issue- easy to fix! This is a relatively common problem with the simple solution. You simply need a quick Botox touch up. rest assured knowing this can be fixed. If you're comfortable with the physician who performed the initial injection, I suggest going back for the touch up. If you are not comfortable, a second opinion is always an option. Hope this helps!Dr. Harmych

Answer: It takes up to two weeks According to Allergan, the makers of Botox, and my personal experience, it takes up to two weeks to see the full effects of Botox. If you're not happy with your doctor, you should find a more qualified plastic surgeon to give you a second opinion and discuss options for correcting your situation.

Answer: Weird Botox Was this photo taken with you raising your brow? If so, this is a common situation that can happen after Botox is injected. If there was too much put in the central forehead, the only muscles left working are the ones above the outside part of the eyebrow, hence the peak that appears to be happening. This can cause weird creases to happen. It's hard to tell without seeing your whole face at rest and then with you attempting to raise your eyebrows.

Answer: Botox at two weeks At two weeks post injection, you are seeing the full effect of the Botox. It appears from your picture that Botox was injected in the central forehead and glabellar area and you are having hyperactivity of the lateral frontalis muscle giving the excessively arched lateral eyebrow. I would recommend injecting some Botox in the lateral forehead areas to relax the lateral eyebrow arching and giving you a more normal eyebrow shape. Otherwise, it will take 3 to 4 months for your present Botox to wear off and for your eyebrows to return to their usual shape.

Answer: The Toxin Needs To Wear Off or Be Corrected Thanks for your question and thanks for the photo as well – it is somewhat helpful. First and foremost, to minimize the chance for any adverse event, please have your Botox, Dysport, or Xeomin treatments given by or in the offices of board-certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons who are the most knowledgeable and understand the underlying anatomy better than anyone. The effect that you are seeing at this time frame is where you are and where you will be until the toxin wears off or until you do something to correct the problem, if you chose to have something done. Too much toxin or improper placement is noted in the middle area, while none was injected at the end of your eyebrow area, which would have countered the depression in middle and would have made it look better instead of what we sometimes call the Spock sign or look. We can fix this – and the whole area by placing a small amount of toxin just above this area. Again, consult the correct physician and most of this can be taken care of for you.
