Can Botox cause anaphylactic shock?

I have taken botox(Allergan) 40 unit. 6 hours later I have uncomforted breathing while I slept . But I thought it only side effect. 0n 14 february 2015 I have received botox again.But only 5 minutes I taken botox 12 unit. I have flushes , uncomforted breathing and palpitation. Dr. have taken Dexamethasone intra vein stat dose . I still have uncomforted breathing last night but not too much. So I thought I am allergy for botox !

It does sound like you may have received too much since it's caused complications, or the injection technique was not accurate. I suggest you follow up with your injector.

This sounds very unlikely but you should have it checked out regardless. Please return to your injector for a followup.

Botox should last 3-4 months. There would be no complications if you get it sooner at 10 weeks. Good luck

It should be fine to receive Botox here, but make sure you only get a low dosage, especially since it's your first time.
