Should a septoplasty/rhinoplasty look this bad after 1 week?

I had my cast taken off today, one week post rhinoplasty, and I was shocked by what I saw in the mirror. My nose looks doubled the size it was before! I am horrified and so miserable. I’ve not seen anyone else’s after photos that look as awful as mine. I also developed an infection where my stitches are and am now on anti biotics. Something just doesn’t seem right :(. Is there anyway I can reduce the swelling? Does something seem off about this ? Thanks in advance
