My friend hit the right side of my nose with her hand. It hurt for a few seconds, then the pain subsided. I noticed later that night that my nose was swollen more than usual. That same night, my friends dog scratched the left side of my nose, causing me to bleed from the scratch and my nose swelled even more. I took photos of my nose the next day and it appeared that it had shifted to the right. could the right side of my nose be more swollen than the left? no pain but some throbbing.

I tell my patients to avoid any activity where they would have an increased probability of being struck on the nose for the first 8 weeks after surgery. You need to have your surgeon examine you and avoid you friends.
